ENGINEERED QUARTZ STONE
Material
Quartz composite stone, called: “Engineered Stone”, is a crystalline, quartz-hard material of natural origin and based on selected high-quality raw materials from global quartz quarries.
In accordance with a patented procedure, the raw materials are combined: compression, vacuum and vibration shorten the process of becoming a stone into just a few minutes.
Both basic and unconventional effect stones with new optics are created with the combination of fine and/or coarse quartz crystals, with insertion of gracious materials such as amethyst, lapis lazuli, jade, jasper, fire-opal and rose quartz, with Murano glass, mother-of-pearl, silicious metal and mirror fragments.
The standard qualities comprise more than 70 different positions in design, colour and structure. Exclusive special construction qualities for own CI-concepts are also possible with small purchase order quantities.
The raw slabs have formats of 125 x 125 cm and 305 x 140 cm and are available in four different thicknesses. Floor coverings are made from the slabs in standard formats of 30 x 30 to 120 x 120 cm with chamfered edges. Upon request, special finishing is possible with all forms “made to order” with precise measurement and with short delivery time. With the five selectable surface finishes the possible variations are increased up to approximately 5,000 in total.
